Bulgarian Travel Basics

Bulgaria is one of those countries that has maintained an enigmatic exoticism, especially in the eyes of Westerners. However, it is steadily becoming a favorite tourist destination. While it is still behind-the-times in such things as transportation (information about bus and train schedules can not always be conveniently found), it is still accomodating. Westerners, depending upon their country of citizenship, can stay in Bulgaria for 30 or 90 days without having to apply for a visa.
