World Marble Championship

Friday February 3, 2006
If you are at all familiar with marble championships (and I am almost certain this is a sport which has a minority of fans), apparently there is a World Marble Championship held in Prague during the summer that is different from the more famous one held in England every year. If you happen to be in Prague during the 22nd or 23rd of July, you can catch part of the Championship if you are at all curious. This may seem like a strange event to be held in one of Europes increasingly sophisticated cities--but Prague is also famous for its marionettes. Well, anyway . . . Prague is still growing up.
