Mercy Corps in the Balkans

If you travel to the countries that have been struck harder by economic depression, war, or a combination of both, you may be wondering how you can help out. Charity and aid organizations are working in these countries. You may remember that Kiva is now in Bulgaria. Mercy Corps, an organization that also generates funds and aid for tsunami survivors, hurricane victims, and earthquake-shattered zones, has projects underway in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These organizations are dedicated to helping poorer nations or regions in times of need.
