Flooding in the Balkans

For those of you who have been keeping tabs on the flood situation in Eastern and Central Europe, you may have become aware that the overflowing Danube's waters have rushed into Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria. Waters have not yet peaked in these areas, and citizens of affected regions have rushed to protect their cities, villages, and farmland.
