Poland Cuisine

Thursday July 20, 2006
Rich and hearty, Polish traditional foods have been coming into their own as more and more restaurants in Poland serve authentic cuisine. Take Sekret, for example. This Warsaw restaurant serves traditional Polish fair in an artistically designed interior, making your visit there both pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the palate.

For authentic Polish cuisine you can make at home, there are many Polish cookbooks available that will give you instructions on how to make your favorite Polish dishes. For example, Polish Cookery is a book translated into English out of Polish - it doesn't get any more authentic than that! Other Polish cookbooks feature historical narratives about certain traditional dishes, culture tips, and beautiful photographs.

If you're planning a trip to Poland, don't forget to check out Poland Travel Basics!
