Everything Is Illuminated

The movie Everything Is Illuminated tells the story of an American searching for his grandfather's history in Ukraine. Anyone who has traveled to Eastern Europe for genealogical research might recognize the same secondhand nostalgia experienced by the main character and witness a similar realization of change by seeing the result without having been privy to what was before.
