Volunteer in Eastern Europe - HFHI Global Village Program

Saturday November 25, 2006
Habitat for Humanity International's Global Village Program is seeking volunteers in four Eastern European countries - Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Russia. If you're interested in helping communities while you travel, participating in the Global Village Program could be just what you're looking for.

Anyone can participate in this volunteer work. Sure, you're building houses, but there's enough work for everyone. Age doesn't matter (a coworker, who is 70 years old and goes on annual Habitat for Humanity trips, can attest to this), as long as you are prepared for manual labor.

You can choose from villages within the four countries as well as travel dates from the Global Village Trip Schedule. Trips are planned for the late spring/summer season, so start planning soon.
