'Eastern Promises' and Language Multimedia Outlets

One of my Bulgarian contacts recommended the movie Eastern Promises for its treatment of issues related to Eastern Europe. If you can stomach the blood and violence, you'll be able to catch Russian language being spoken. However, if you prefer to experience Eastern European culture and language on a more innocuous level, check out any of the Russian language multimedia resources available.
