World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms - WWOOF

Friday November 16, 2007
It's got a funny name, but WWOOF (or World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms) is a serious volunteer opportunity for individuals who find value in the principles behind organic farming. WWOOF is an international organization that keeps track of organic member farms around the world seeking volunteers. Organic farms supported by WWOOF can be found across Eastern Europe, including Croatia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Serbia. Their website (www.wwoof.org) offers more information about organic farm locations and how to volunteer.
