Choose Your Eastern Europe Travel Destination

Saturday April 5, 2008
The region known as "Eastern Europe" - a basic and unspecific designation - is full of fabulous destinations. Before you plan your trip to Eastern Europe, it's important to consider exactly what parts of Eastern Europe you're most interested to spend time in. You may want to limit your trip to a single country - there are 20 of these travel destinations in Eastern Europe. Or, using land or air transportation, you may want to visit several major cities in Eastern Europe, some of the most popular being Prague, Moscow, Warsaw, Krakow, and Budapest. If you're attracted to the weird and scary, make a point to seek out the creepiest places in Eastern Europe, like the Torture Museum and Sedlec Ossuary. If you like history, plan your travel around Eastern Europe's castles or its UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Focusing your attention on a certain aspect or geographical area of Eastern Europe can make trip planning easier and its outcome more rewarding.
