Karlovy Vary is the Czech Republic's famous spa town. Discovered by Charles IV, its hot spring waters are purported to have curative qualities. In addition to drinking from the mineral springs in Karlovy Vary, guests can partake in other wellnes treatments. Even if you don't schedule a massage or participate in the "drinking cure," strolls through Karlovy Vary's historic district, where charming Old World facades are decked with flowers, are sure to be relaxing.
