New Year's Resolutions for Travelers to Eastern Europe

Saturday December 27, 2008
It's time to start thinking seriously about New Year's resolutions. Many resolutions focus upon self-betterment, like cutting down on binge shopping or losing weight. Other resolutions focus on the betterment of the world, like choosing environmentally friendly practices or being nicer to coworkers. Or you may resolve to accomplish a long-held goal, like renovating the master bathroom or going back to school. If you've always wanted to visit a certain country or city in Eastern Europe, resolve now to make the plans to do so. Eastern Europe is getting increasingly easy to get to, get around, and enjoy. Its diverse cultures, climates, foods, and attractions make for exciting travel no matter the length of stay. Whether you choose the Baltics, East Central Europe, Southeastern Europe, or the other Eastern European countries, travel here will widen your perspectives and offer experiences unique to the region.
