The Trimontium Princess Hotel located in Plovdiv's ploshtad Tsentralen has large rooms, restaurants offering tasty meals, and even a casino.

Location

The Trimontium Princess Hotel has a prime location for visitors to Plovdiv. With an address in the center square, visitors to this ancient city can experience the best of Plovdiv within a short walk of the Trimontium Princess. Right in front of the hotel is a sunken area that contains the remains of a Roman forum. You can explore this archeological site easily during your stay, but this is just one perk of being smack in the middle of Plovdiv. East of the hotel is an open-air clothing market, and to the west is the Tsar Simeon Garden with greenery and a fountain. Ulitsa Knyas Aleksandur, the main street in Plovdiv, is peppered with shops and cafes with open-air seating. The City Art Gallery is located at number 15, which holds paintings that will give visitors impressions of Plovdiv's past in 19th century oil paintings.

The Hotel

The hotel itself has spacious rooms decorated with luxurious furnishings. The hotel was renovated in 2001, so the accomodations are relatively new. The bathrooms, some with jacuzzi tubs, have modern fixtures. The atmosphere of the hotel is one that meshes comfortably with the mix of styles to be found in Plovdiv.

An Irish steak house and a larger restaurant offering traditional and international cuisine are located in the hotel. They offer clean and comfortable dining in well-lit halls. While the city might have more variety in meal choices, the restaurants at the Trimontium Princess will serve jet-lagged travelers well on the first couple nights of stay.

The Trimontium Princess also has a casino, a gym, a sauna, and shops. Overall, it's a stellar place to stay while exploring Plovdiv.
