Hotel Anna Prague

Located in Historic Prague

About.com Rating threehalf out of Five

By Kerry Kubilius, About.com

Hotel Anna was built between the years 1892 and 1895, as the neo-classical facade reveals. However, modern guests find their stay at the hotel very comfortable.

Location

Just 10 minutes from Wenceslas Square, Hotel Anna lies just outside of any major tourist districts. This has proven delightful to weary guests, who spend their days sightseeing and shopping, but prefer to re-energize in the quiet residential district of Vinohrady.

Rooms and Service

The European-style rooms are kept clean by the friendly staff, all who speak English. Each of the 24 rooms is decorated in different styles; you room may be simply cozy with basic furniture, or it may have more regal flair with scroll-work headboards and ceiling beams. However, you won't be far away from the turn-of-the century flair when you examine other parts of this hotel--beautiful tile work and granite mantle pieces have been preserved elsewhere, and when you check in, you might expect to be handed a huge iron key for your door.

Family-oriented

This hotel prides itself on welcoming families. Its pricing takes into account children, and the breakfast room serves a generous buffet every morning.

Pricing and Contact

Room rates are $80.00 to $130.00 USD per night.
