After a fire in which most of its Romanesque details were destroyed in 1541, the church was rebuilt to extend, by way of Vladislav Hall, to the Old Royal Palace.

While the chapel in Old Saints Church at the Old Royal Palace is not open to the public during the week, it is open for services on Saturdays at 4 pm. In addition, it sometimes plays host to concerts at various times during the year.
