Maisolova Street is one of the two main thoroughfares through the Jewish Quarter. When Jews were permitted to move outside the ghetto in Josefov in the middle of the 19th century, most of the buildings on Maisolova Street were torn down. The result of this was the many buildings constructed with Art Nouveau facades to replace the medieval buildings that once stood along the historic street.

This gorgeous Art Nouveau building houses a restaurant called "The Restaurant at the Old Synagogue."
