Hungarian Folk Costumes

There is not one type of Hungarian folk costume. As you can see from the skirts and blouses of the two main costumes in the photo, the colors and styles of the skirts, blouses, and accessories differ greatly. The red apron on the left is tied with a decorated sash, while the patterned apron on the right sits atop a green flowered skirt. Also note the red embroidered vest over the man's shirt in the background.
