Pasternak Museum in Peredelkino:
The Pasternak House Museum is located in Peredelkino, on the outskirts of Moscow. It is in this house that Boris Pasternak wrote his Nobel Prize-winning novel, Doctor Zhivago, and also where he died. Pasternak is buried at the cemetery in Peredelkino.
Visiting the Pasternak Museum and Peredelkino:
Visitors to the Pasternak Museum will see the desk at which Pasternak wrote and other preserved artifacts from his life. His grave can also be visited. Two annual events, on the day of Pasternak's birth (February 10) and on his death (May 30) commemorate the author and poet.
Peredelkino is interesting in additional respects. The town has connections to other famous creative individuals, including Andrei Tarkovsky and Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Another museum in this Moscow suburb is dedicated to Kornei Chukovsky, a writer of children's stories.

How to Get to the Peredelkino and the Pasternak Museum:
Take a train to Peredelkino from Moscow's Kievsky train station. When you arrive, you can take either a bus or taxi to the museum. If the weather is nice, it is also possible to walk.
