Hotel Metropol, a well-established Warsaw Hotel, is an excellent choice if you are not seeking luxury accomodations but still desire comfort.
Hotel Metropol Downtown Warsaw - Accomodations
While this hotel has been a Warsaw mainstay for almost 50 years, Metropol is modern and clean. While it may only offer the basics - bed, bath, 24-hour reception, and in-hotel dining - Metropol won't cost you a fortune even though its location is ideal for seeing Warsaw's city center.
Hotel Metropol Downtown Warsaw - Dining

Hotel Metropol Downtown Warsaw
Kerry Kubilius, licensed to About.comMetropol's Metro Jazz Club offers live music, but its kitchen closes at 10pm. If your flight or train arrives in late evening, you'll have to go elsewhere for food, though drinks can still be purchased.
The buffet breakfast is something of a feeding frenzy, and you may have to share a table with strangers if you take your morning meal during the rush. However, the food is plentiful and includes cold cuts, breads, pastries, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, cold cereal, coffee, tea, and juice.
Hotel Metropol Downtown Warsaw - Location and Getting There
Metropol is located on the corner of ul. Jerozolimskie and Marzalkowska, two major streets in downtown Warsaw. The address is 99a, but you're more likely to find the hotel by its obvious green sign.
If you arrive in Warsaw by plane, you can either take bus number 175 from the airport and get off at Marzalkowska, or you can use a taxi. If you arrive by train and your bags are manageable, you can walk a couple of blocks east towards (and eventually past), the Marriot - sign should point you in the right direction. A taxi from Warsawa Centralna, the central train station, should only cost a few zloty if you've got too much luggage.
