Willa Isabel is not located in the city center, and first-time visitors to the city may be concerned by its location. However, getting to Willa Isabel by taxi will only cost you a few zloty; the ride is probably around 3 minutes.

If you want to get back into Gdansk, the tram that goes to Gdansk Old Town is even less expensive than a taxi, and just as efficient. If you choose Willa Isabel for your stay in Gdansk, you will have no problem getting to and from the hotel.

Willa Isabel's rooms are simply charming. Furnished with high-quality furniture and decorated with personal details like cuckoo clocks, china sets, foot stools, and curios, you'll feel like you're house-sitting for a wealthy relative (who happens to have wonderful European taste) rather than staying at a hotel.

The seven rooms are decorated according to color themes and occupy their own special nooks in the hotel's layout. The "green" room offers a living area with a separate loft bedroom accessible by spiral staircase.

The hotel is run by a single female owner who hires staff to help run the hotel during daytime hours. The owner herself speaks limited English, but no matter - she's exceptionally accomodating as are the other staff members.

Breakfast - a delicious buffet of meats, cheeses, breads, hot coffee and tea, juices, yogurt and sweets - is included with the price of room. You can also order meals at the bar/reception area or a bottle of wine to take up to your room.

Because this hotel is small, if you have your heart set on staying here, book well in advance, particularly during the height of tourist season - June, July, and August.
