U Medvidku in Old Town Prague

U Medvidku, an Old Town pub and restaurant, is called "The Little Bears" in English. The location at which the restaurant exists has long been a brewery, and U Medvidku not only serves genuine Czech Budweiser beer but brews its own "X-Beer." U Medvidku is dark and smokey like any brewery pub should be. A mish-mash of tables, the din of several languages being spoken, and free-flowing drinks make this pub a cheerful place to relax after a day of Prague sightseeing.

Homemade soups and meat dishes make up the major part of this pub's menu. Many dishes feature beer, lard, dumplings, and other similarly heavy ingredients. U Medvidku is also very proud of its X-Beer, which it brews in-house.
