Mucha is famous for his posters and advertisements, but as the museum emphasizes, he was a nationalist who used inspiration from his homeland to create masterpieces.

Exhibits at the Mucha Museum:
The Mucha Museum offers visitors a look at Mucha's personal and professional life in photos, a replica of part of his studio, lithographs in various stages of production, sketches, and publications. A point of pride for the museum is the painting "Star," depicting a peasant woman meeting her fate on a frozen night under the glow of a single star.
