When staying in St. Petersburg, you'll more-than-likely want to connect with those at home (who aren't having as much fun as you are) via the Internet. Whether it's to upload pictures, update your online journal or blog, or just send a quick email, you can do so at most Internet cafes in St. Petersburg any time of day.
For example, check out Quo Vadis?, located at 24, Nevsky prospekt. With a bar, library, and a frequently-updated website in English, it is definitely a hip spot to catch up on communication when you're still wired from dancing at the clubs.

Internet Cafes in St. Petersburg are constantly coming and going, and it's difficult to identify sources that will be reliable from season to season. However, Cafe Max is part of a larger tour company, and they seem pretty stable with their two locations.
Cafe Max is both at 90/92 Nevsky proskpekt, and at the Hermitage Museum. They advertise themselves as an Internet cafe-restaurant, and their site (in Russian only) features some items off their menu, such as some scrumptious blini.

Internet Cafes in St. Petersburg will probably be clearly advertised, and, because their popularity and ease-of-use has grown (especially for foreigners), it's likely that you'll be able to find one within walking distance of your hotel.
