The Alexandrov Kremlin is located in Alexandrov, in the Vladimir Region of Russia. Also called "Alexander Village" the kremlin was constructed by the same builders of the Kremlin in Moscow by Vasily III. It served as a residence for the tsar and his court, and Alexandrov once was a capital of the burgeoning state over which he ruled.

The Pokrovsky Cathedral (later the Troitsky Cathedral), shown above, dates from the 15th century.
