The Russian battleship, or cruiser, Aurora became a symbol for the Russian Revolution when her crew joined the Bolsheviks and refused an order to take to sea - or so the story goes. The Aurora's exterior and interior have undergone extensive renovation. The Aurora is permenantly docked on the Neva River and acts as a museum.
